Where do you get your photoshop actions?

I found a bunch of free ones online but there are some that cost money that seem better. Obviously I'd love to learn how to create them myself eventually but I love some of the ones I've seen. What are your favorite websites to purchase actions? Or is it silly to spend money on them at all?

I love me some good actions. I am an action whore you might say. LOL I start off with them and if they are really good it will allow you to fully customize them. Most paid actions will allow you to do that. Some free ones do not but it depends on where you got them.

Here are some of my favorites. Some of these places do more then just actions.

http://www.mcpactions.com/ (external link) I have just about every actions she has and I love them
http://olivejuiceshoppe.com/ (external link) She is just getting started but she totally rocks at what she does
http://www.florabellacollection.com/index2.php#/home/ (external link) Her textures totally rock my world.

I hope this helps. If you are looking for something more specific let me know. I might have more I can point you to.

I've also bought the Florabella actions, and my current faves are from http://purephotoshopactions.blogspot.com …re-photoshop-actions.html (external link)

I adore actions, but something I have learned in the last year is that a bunch of processing does not necessarily a good image make; in fact, I'm sure I messed up some decent images with a drenching in processing when I first started. Now, I use them sparingly (or at least a lot less heavy-handedly!).

I've used the perfect portrait action from this blogger. I don't use a ton of actions but I find this one to be useful. She has a whole bunch of other actions so you may just find something you like!

Why would you pay for actions?
