Best AF settings for 1D3/7D - for aerobic shooting

What would be the best AF settings (including C.Fn III) for shooting aerobic event, dance, zumba ...
like :

Event will be in house with decent (I hope) light.

I will use:
- Canon 1D3 (first time serious),
- and Canon 7D.

Lenses:
- EF 24L II
- EF 85 1.8
- EF-S 17-55 2.8 IS
- EF 70- 200 2.8 IS


Using: 5D, 7D, EF 70-200 2.8 IS IIL II, EF-S 17-55 2.8, SigmaLux 50 1.4, EF 28-135 3.5-5.6 IS, EF 24L II, EF 85 1.8, Samyang 8 f/3.5

I have never used a 1d3, but for the 7d I would try just using single point AF. If you find that isn't tracking well enough then I would use single point AF expansion mode. For the custom functions, I would enable tracking priority over drive speed.

put it to AI servo and set it up for back button focusing or AF-stop depending on your preference.
