His face may be a little bright and the shadow being as dark as it is bugs me a little...
For the shadow (in Photoshop): Open a blank layer and change blend mode to Lighten.
Use a soft brush at 10% brush opacity. Sample the lighter floor near the shadow and
paint with that hue over the shadow. (You can mask out the feet and legs to protect
them from being lightened).
For the face: Open any adjustment layer (curves, hue/sat, levels, etc.). Change blend
mode to Multiply. This will darken everything. Invert the mask (Ctrl+i) to hide the
darkening effect. Paint with white -- soft brush, 10% brush opacity -- on the face to
darken a little (more or less than shown here, according to what you prefer).
