This was my first year going down, it was such a blast. My first real shoot with my T2i & 70-200, also my first time sharing photos here. So CC welcome & enjoy. I didn't have any special access, just managed to find holes in the fence or used a 5 gallon bucket to stand on. Already looking forward to Sebring or 2012 Rolex :D

That's awesome, i have an M3, and my mechanic was at the rolex 24 with full access credentials. So lucky.

Lucky him! Is he going to get you creds next year? Although at the right hours you can still get pretty good spots. Thursday afternoon during practice I was in the hot pit area w/o question & early Sunday up on the roof with the spotters!

I'm hoping so.

I have a connection for the gator nationals (nhra) but not sure I'm if going to get to go to that this year, when 'they' don't want to go I can go. I'd love to use my new lens there.

For now I just have the local 'speedworld' to shoot at when I make it to that side of town.

Thank you guys!

Dont know if you watched the race or were there, but thats after the M6 lost a hood and roof skin. You can see the absence of a hood and white zipties holding the pillars to the roll cage. Hahahaha. Got a pic from above for reference, not as artsy though :)

I wasn't watching that part at the time, but I did see it on the highlight reel. haha. I can see the duct tape and such holding rear portions of the car together. good ol' 24 hours :D
