took my 135L on a trip to the zoo

A lot of butts, but sometimes you don't have much choice. I'm planning on a B'ham zoo visit this spring. Should I bring my 70-200 or 300.

I would suggest the 70-200, I used the 135 for creativity but I did not lack in shots due to focal length at all so I have to say the 70-200 plus its versatility would be on par and is plenty capable of some great shots.

btw they have alot of construction going on right now as they are remodeling to add an Africa junction in the zoo and it should be done sometime this spring, so I would call ahead to see if its finished first before you plan the trip to have a better selection of animals

Thanks for the info. It's a 2+ hour drive. I'll wait until they have completed the construction.
