Navy - getting a little too close for comfort

I was shooting some birds in my backyard when this guy flew over. He(she) had just taken off and did a quick u-turn back to the base. They do not normally do touch and go in my direction and it was the only plane to take off this low.

nice shot of the Hawk trainer. could have been a multitude of reasons for a return like that. :)

Yep, you are right about the location. To be more exact, it is 2 miles south of the south runway.

They are also having an airshow next month.
