Just got to Paris and pulled out my speedlites and radio poppers... they won't trigger for me. Is this from a different radio freq or is there something else that could be the cause?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I know my EU versions area different freq to US versions, but I wouldn't o thought that the difference would be the reason for no firing..?? I assmue you have checked the simple things, battery level, same channels and no obstruction to the light sensor on the slave speedlite..?? also make sure that if you have done the quick battery check by pressing x, that you have pressed it again to return to the normal state ( this has foxed me a couple of times..:oops:)

A quick test is to try to fire the slave flash without the poppers, just using the canon infa-red, to make sure all your sppedlite settings are correct.:)

Good luck

If they worked before, they should work no matter where you take them, even if it's to Mars. :)

Nothing with the frequency should be the problem. I can use any frequency I like.

What models are you using?
