Had a fun experience over the weekend. A few people from my camera club and I got the chance to work with the casting company for George Clooney's new movie doing head shots for a casting call. Nothing fancy, but it was a fun experience.

Closest we got to George was a cardboard cutout:) Word on the street was that he might stop by, but not sure how credible. Met the casting director, so that will be cool when the movie is out and you read through the credits.

The shots were just a cattle call type thing. Stand on the green tape, hold a white board and 'click'. We went through about 1,100 folks total. Heard they had 15,000 submit via email. It was all for extra parts, so assuming some of the folks make it in, they will be background folks. Pretty wild experience though with all the people that showed up.
