Canon 5D Mark II and Canon speedlights used on all shots.
Westcott Softbox used too. Love that thing :)

More here if anyone interested.

Wow. Love! I kind of wish there was a leeetle bit more light on his face in the first one, but honestly, I get what you're going for with this. Love the detail and colour in the chair, and the way his feet are positioned as well. Keep it up!

Really nice series. I really love the first image on your site, of the elevator door/gate.

I think this is worthy of going on the fashion/editorial thread.

Nice work. Love the shadows. How did you constrain or position the light to do the side lighting in the 2nd one?

Thank you very much.
For the side lighting, all I did was make sure I drowned out any ambient lighting, then I positioned the westcott literally side on from him, very close to him to try and avoid any light from hitting his other side Can't remember the settings right now as I dont have access to the file but I'd say off the top of my head the speedlight was at 1/16th and my shutter speed was at 1/200.

I really wanted to do some side lighting photos like you did here. Trying to see how I would do it with an umbrella because I currently dont have a softbox.
