There are so many great images in this thread. I've lurked for a while, and I thought I had better start sharing images. Here are a few of my favorite P-51 Mustang images taken at the Planes of Fame Airshow in Chino, CA.

It was a great show which featured around 20 mustangs and many other warbirds.

Nice opening salvo Ken...

(Might want to tweak your sharing size though. POTN mandates 1024X on the longest side lest a Mod or Admin smite thee...)

Welcome!

Welcome!

Thank you for the kind words. I have made the suggested changes to the images to conform to the POTN standards.

"Everyone loves the P-51 Mustang", ahh, I don't think so! There are many WW-2 pilots from the other side that did not like them one bit. : )

Pic #3 on the original post: Phenomenal capture! I don't feel apologies are needed, especially since the Hercules tails in the background are blurred well capturing the Mustang's characteristic speed. Pic #1 is also a great shot because the angle used produces a sense of speed as well.

I love the way you have caught those interference patterns from the two props!

That last image is fantastic. Love the prop arc and sense of speed.
