This thread needs to be changed to be based on technical aspects of a capture, not the subject matter.

5/10 good composition, but the fact that the top of the flower is OOF distracts me

7/10.

Great tones, lighting and composition but I think if you took the picture minutes later when the sun would be just a bit lower you could avoid the slight halo. But in a sense this is what gives great light to the picture.. It's just a bit too much..

^Yeah I couldn't agree with you more.
I would have waited longer so I could get more a rim light on the mountain instead of an overpowering light but I had to get to class :(

Just actually looked at this photo in your own thread - nice colours, if a little on the red side. I also feel like it's not really "telling the story" that a shot with this many people in it should, but I still like it. There was a really nice edit of this in your thred - so it certainly has more potential! 6/10

Here's mine ...

I don't have one ready right now, just wanted to comment on this one. 8/10, great exposure, love the falls, but wouldn't it make a cool crop at the waterline? Very Warhol.

7/10 Great detail and exposure. My eyes wonder a little not sure what to focus on.

7/10: Would like it better if the cropping was more "rule of thirds".

8/10. Loved the energy and expression. The empty space on the right is catching my attention quite a bit. A tighter crop?

Somebody is watching you.
