The only problem I have is the RAW pics look better than they do on my laptop!

What doesn't look better on a camera's LCD?

Also, the RAW that you see on the 60D's display is actually a JPEG thumbnail, edited according to the picture style that you choose.
On your laptop- the RAW needs your help to look great. Otherwise, what's the point of shooting RAW?

Most laptop screens really aren't up to image display, are uncalibrated and subject to ambient lighting where ever you happen to set it up.

Which program do you use for viewing on your laptop. Except for the DPP viewer, you will get significantly differently looking pictures in every other program. This is because every program renders RAW file in its own way. Adobe Lightroom/ACR does have compatible Canon profiles but its default is still Adobe profile.

they do? then your monitor isnt calibrated properly.
My pictures look better on my LG monitor. and Samsung LED TVs.
