would it be possible to ask for a couple hour extention?. Our roof decided that the snow was too much for it today, the sealing failed around the kitchen vent and we're dealing with some water problems. FYI - a stove should not be placed in a shower. doesn't work too well.

*edit* - disregard. problem appears to be under control for now. here's my submission

Hi friends, missed it this week. Was on a travel in Norway for two weeks, but wasn't able to break anything... I would have loved to take a picture of glas breaking into peaces. But the sqedule was to busy.

anothernewb get the vote for this week for his "break a leg" picture.

Living in Austria, I am so glad that there is stuff like Gimp out there...
I am a happy giver, so if you find any misspelling in my text, you can keep them... :)

Kent - there was some broken glass in my front yard, due to a windstorm knocking over a window we just replaced. I never could get out there when the light was right. I may have go at it anyway even tho the competetition is over.

I like edmyloo's antique door and glass.

My vote is for photomom2one's old books. Those look like they came out of a hundred year old library.

My first thought on this challenge was either a crumbling building or something rusted out. There was way too much snow out here to get to the junkyard, I wasn't going to trudge through all that crap without being able to see what I was walking on.
So my vote goes to Soliwit. gotta love rusty stuff.

first of all thanks for your vote anotherweb!
And yah I do not mind you are a bit late photomom, I am happy you got to put a pic in this time around! :)
geee, now I have to pick right *scratches head*
I think I have to go with photomom too, although this is a very very tight one, wow, I really love anotherweb's too and edmyloo, wow, that one is also so awesome, specifically because all colors are so close together, but if I really look at the pic that stands out most it's photomom.....so there :)

that's exactly why there are the challenges, it makes you look at photography differently, kicks you out of your comfort zone, that's why I love them so much!
