My favorite photographer is Lori Dorman, based in Los Angeles. She is without a doubt the most creative, talented baby photographer on the planet. She makes Anne Geddes look like a wannabe in my opinion. Her use of bright, dynamic saturated color is like nothing I've ever seen. She uses backlight and shallow depth of field to create the most ethereal images. Her maternity pictures are amazing, so unique, truly art. If you really want to be inspired, check out her work at loridorman.com She does workshops, but they are not available for us here in So. california. I guess she doesn't want to be training her competition, which is her absolute right. However, she could show us how she does it, but it certainly doesn't mean that we could ever create the art that she does. She is something special. run, don't walk to check out loridorman.com

I love her shots in front of the large window...

Harder than it looks (maybe just for a newb like me) but I can't manage to get the same look...they are almost silhouettes but she manages to keep some detail...

Love her shots. There were some particular ones I liked most. Her pictures are very inspirational, and it looks extremely hard to capture the photos like she does, especially with the lighting, well unless it's only because I"m a beginner, other than that, her photos are amazing.
Thanks for sharing!
