Another Sunset Wedding Shot

Ever since my last sunset shots I posted from a wedding in the keys I have wanted to experiment some more but really hadn't got the chance. Just so happens I was shooting a wedding last weekend for a couple who really didn't want any engagement, formals, etc. just basic coverage of the ceremony and some of the reception. Just as everyone started eating at the reception I looked out the window and saw a sunset happening with lots of clouds. I asked the couple if they wished to take about 30 seconds and shoot in the parking lot outside. Managed this quick pose for about 6 shots in the cold and wind before the color was gone.

Here is a couple of flavors I am working on from lots of process (dreamy) to very little process and a black and white.

I'd love to see number 3 in color.

I really like the B&W version, I can see more detail, and you don't lose visibility of the groom's pants like you do in the color versions...just my thoughts.

Great work mate! Love them all! I do like the BW more though.

Single 580ex on a monopod with shoot thru umbrella about 10ft to my left. Really wanted to put a second flash behind them to give them a rim light with his suit being so dark but with only a few minutes to shoot, and the other flash in my bag inside... oh well live an learn.

very nice i like them all ....good catch of the sky colors and making thercall to go out there , i'm sure they are happy they took the time to listen to you .

I really like the 3rd one the most in color or BW

The second time I opened the thread, I liked #3 in BW the best. Go figure!
