Later tonight from home, I am going to post shots of still images taken indoors. You guys will ahve to pardon my ignorance with 7D but in manual mode it wouldn't allow me to increase/decrease exposure. I will post some more tonight.

And the most recent shot was taken outdoors in shade (on my sundeck) on a very gloomy day. I used on-camera flash. Will be bying 580 EXII soon.

As Silverfox1 suggested, I increased the in camera sharpness and contrast. But ACDSee EXIF still shows sharpness at -1 irrespective of what is in the camera. Maybe it is supposed to be like that. If not, then 7D is doing fishy things. It is a recent purchase too.

Watching this thread like a hawk, great work lately in here...

Previous MKI owner, was always satisfied with the results. For my last wedding I rented the MKII and I was floored with the performance in terms of wide open sharpness, contract, and color, and the new IS is stellar. Now... wanting to go back to a F/2.8 telephoto. Someone convince me to save a grand and re-buy the MKI, or to part with my hard earned cash on the MKII, anybody up to the task?

IMO the best Canon L zoom ever produced bar none.

Just got mine two weeks ago and very quickly forgot about the cash i dropped.

Ordered mine this morning ! This thread is insane !

Any good help ideas for me? I have been shooting wrestling AV f2.8 ISO 1600 my maximum, 250th average, with flash using single center sensor. Using monopod. I have yet to get results comparable to the basketball capture in this forum by Staxzek. My body is Rebel XTi.
