I get both species here year round and I see a lot of them. Most people don't so it can be confusing for them. For me, the size alone would be enough. By comparison, the Downy is tiny. If one sees them in profile, the beak is a dead giveaway. snyderman wrote in post #11862546 ![]() Harvey, the colors on your shots are spot-on.
