I was going to mention that my friend's brother does that (car owner), but I see you got a shot of his "Speedliner" in your second picture. Do you know if that shot was taken after one of his record setting runs?

I've been wanting to go there, but never could make time. Nice shots!

Can I take your picture? "I'll swallow your soul!" Well, my camera will at least.

I think it was taken after a personal best run (sometime mid morning). I cant recall exactly what the CB announcer said but think it was 358mph. I believe Speed by Spectre is inching towards the 400mph mark.

They actually broke the 400mph mark in Sept of last year. My friend's brother and car owner, Amir, drove the car 415mph (408mph average)! It's now the fastest, gasoline powered, wheel driven car in the world. That's pretty insane how fast that can go. Faster than most aircraft and not even using a jet!

My husband goes just about every year. He races motorbikes and has gone over 250mph. I have never seen him race but after seeing these pics maybe I'll tag along one yr just to take pics...oh and to cheer him on, of course.
