Hello everyone, I found this guy down at the same new roadcut yesterday, I was hoping he would jump on a nice branch but he stayed on the ground until he took off.

Found this one hiding pretty good. I think his back is in focus but it is hard to tell, pretty wild patterns........ Yellow Bellied Sapsucker

"Myrtle" looks lovely regardless if she is on the ground or on a branch... very nice shots Bret; I really like the second shot on the log, a great pose... fine shooting my friend.

Very nice work. Now I have to go shoot the Yellow-rumped again. Try and get closer to your quality. They sure don't sit still very long.
