I may be joining you guys soon. :)

Just trying to sell my T2i now. I absolutely love it but I want something a little bigger. :)

The T2i is a great starter - give potential buyers this to browse and may speed things up a bit ;)

So how's it going today gang? I was done work today at 2pm and now just hanging out... its sunny so may score a nice sunset tonight with the 15-85mm ;) The moon looks cool but alas - sold my tele-zoomer a few days ago and awaiting my new one

Golly - it occurred to me last night that not only do I own the previously (currently?) skewered & hotly contested 60D - but I have shipping to me the currently skewered & hotly contested 70-300mm L! If we're the black sheep in the EOS family - does that make me the red-ring sheep in the black sheep family? Guess I have a red collar :p  :) ;)

if anyone relatively new is wondering why the 60D could be skewered - its a weird thing. The 60D is actually a great performing camera, as we well know - but there is a camp that sprang up among the EOS ranks (namely my former 50D siblings) that really wanted an 'upgrade' without loosing the microadjust or magnesium body (P.S. They Did - its Called The 7D). The EOS 60D is great and is not deficient in any way - the jilted camp was mainly directing (misplacing) their anger on the 60D instead of solely CANON. The hub-bub has mainly quietened down though.

enjoy your 60D & Be Free!

I just got the 60D this week. My first DSLR and my first camera too. It is kinda difficult to learn what all the settings do but im determined not to always use it in auto mode. I hope that i can start sharing pictures soon.

hello people wrote in post #11880678 (external link)
What's a good memory card for the 60D? I heard there was different speeds/ quality...

thanks

Class 6 is good enough but if you want more speed, take the Transcend Class 10. Sandisk SD cards are good but very expensive. transcend brand is not bad.

hope this helps. I just bought 32GB Transcend Class 10 and work like a charm.
