LOL, I know exactly what you mean. You fire it on burst and let 'er rip, get back to Lr and try and decide which ones have the better stance or motion rather than just which are in or out of focus.

Thankfully HDDs are cheap now-a-days though. :D

Next time you go out pretend it's a film camera and you only have 36 exposures to play with.

-> To be honest, I don't think HDD space is that much of an issue - your files are only 16MP (as opposed to 21 on a 5D MK II)

Get 2 2TB HDDs (1 backup) and that will last you a while -> add them to a nice Windows Home Server (version 1) or a Linux version (which would even allow you to use more than 1 backup drive) and you're set for a little while.

But the issue of culling bad shots - I know the issue - even though I shoot with a 5D MK II.... sometimes it's easy.. sometimes difficult and you just randomly chuck out images, or you chuck them out for insignificant blemishes.

Hey, I'll swap my T2i for your camera (I'll probably have to throw in my car as well, however). Then, you'll have plenty of hard drive space to play with...

For those of you who blamed F8 for my problems, here is one from a group shot at F4 today. Shot another 139 without a single OOF shot. I've got to sell this camera cheap.

My OOF ratio jumped up to about one in ten today. I was shooting birds and we had wind gusts in excess of 50MPH. ;)

Excellent. Good to know the smallish aperture wasn't masking focusing errors.

Is it possible to have enough HK's? I'm no where near any limit!

I have a .45 USP in stainless. I regularly beat my friend and his Colt Gold Cup at the range.

The HK is my favorite handgun.
