The problem I have with these kind of shots is there are bars or a chain iron fence between us . I don't have the clear plexiglass or a moat setting. If the sun is on the bars or fence it is a no go. The animal must be as far away as possible and you have to be as close to the fence/iron bars to blur them and a f/2.8 or f/4 is needed . That also limits the DOF, but gives a dreamy effect also. This guy was hard because he was close...really close.....Rich

Wow, would have never known you shot these in front of a chain fence. Looks like you were inches away from them :)....very sharp details.

I had the 70-200mm f/4L IS , but the 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II is someting more....much more. This is with the 1.4x Kenko...
