Just keep shooting and learn all the functions of the camera would be my best suggestion. Before I got my S95 I was a green box shooter (auto mode). I didn't really understand ISO, aperture , and shutter speed and how they relate to one another, or even what RAW was. I think the camera really forces you to learn more about photography because of its advanced features. S95/T2i

I feel that my pics are all boring, but that's mainly because I am not using 100% of what the S95 is capable of. Lots of options on that bad boy.

There is one thing about the camera that I do not like and that is the placement of the flash. I sometimes have my left index finger resting on top of the flash when taking pics, and when the flas is on auto and needs to pop up when taking pics, my finger get in its way so it does not pop up all the way or stop it all together. I hope I don't break the motor that gets the flash to pop up. Other than that, I hope to learn everything I can able this camera. Love the adjustable ring on the lens feature. Try adding this GRIP Bodies: T4i : 5DIV : Sony A6000
