Built in timelapse function. And super high video framerates at reduced resolution would be cool.

so a built in rocket blower button? ;)

rocket blower, high powered vacuum, windshield wiper, what ever they installed, just make it actually work, and keep the sensor spotless over the years.

Aperture bracketing. Seems obvious, and trivial to implement.

Good one.

How about assisted auto microadjust that will also account for different focal lengths on a zoom. Heck, my home theater receiver automatically tunes itself for the acoustics of the room and wherever you've placed the speakers.

Wireless tethering function via iPhone/ipad

Not face detection but eyelash detection....

3D depth tracking!

Take a photo at f/16, camera automatically assigns a 3d alpha depth channel wich one can use to add extra DOF or other nifty things

that or an "Ansel adams mode"

I thought AEB in Tv mode would work as you ask (disclaimer: never tried it)

I would like pixel binning.
