Shot w/ a 70-200 f/4. No the best lens for the job but didn't hate them for my first crack at baseball from the stands.

These are really good, but there must be some weird perspective things going on here.

#3, Was he really that far out in front of that pitch? The catchers glove is closed so Im guessing it fouled off the ground and bounced right there.

#5, did he really miss that ball that badly? :)

#7, Wow, wiff! Also, is the catcher going to take that one in the face? (edit: must have been a foul ball)

I don't know how to see or calculate crop, but I was 12 rows up in front of 3rd base. There was a lot of cropping involved since I was shooting @ around 190mm.

Knuckle baller on the mound. Fooled him. He went 0 for 3
