I am very happy that I traded 5d2 and 7d for a 1D MkIV and have tried to shoot an event for my sons today. It is extremely better than 7d especially the click sound.

Why would Canon do that as it would decimate the 1DS4 sales. I think the 5D3 will be just like the 5D2, a cheaper, slower more basic version of the 1DS. Why would it be different? But like everyone else, I really have no idea Very lucky to have a lot of nice toys
