Real nice shot. I wish lived where light pollution was not existent like that, but then I might not have a job! I believe there are some areas in western Texas that are considered dark sky preserves. Up here in Canada where I live, I'm only about 1 hour from Canada's second largest dark sky preserve which is in the Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park [39,600 hectares (396 square km)]. I'm also only about 8 hours from Canada's largest (and worlds largest) DSP in Jasper National Park[11,228 square km]. When you can find one of these areas or even one that has very little light polution, it's mind boggling just how much you can see when you look up. Geoff | SmugMug
