This was the first year for the event, adding another show to the 3 existing Festival of Speed shows throughout Florida. It was a small show, but there was some big hitting cars that showed up! This is only a few of what was there.

Audi R8 V10 Spyder...I must say, I think I like it better than the coupe.

And arguably the most beautiful car of the last decade... Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione

Definitely post yours! I'd love to see them. I showed up for the last hour of the show only, but was very happy to see and hear the cars drive. I'd love to see what you got!

Do you have a rear side profile shot of the Alpha Romeo? The lines of the 8C just seem so smooth.

I didn't bother with the rump of the car as the light was really bucking me at that point. Stupid me forgot to bring the CPL or any of my filters for that matter, otherwise I probably would have snagged one. The car is sheer beauty. It simply doesn't get any better than how that car looks!

not to start an argument but on this car, I disagree; while the lines of it are beautiful, IMO the headlight capsule is way too busy and sort of ugly, and those fog lights look like $5 walmart accessories. Personally, I believe this car's maserati gt brother is much better looking.

I totally understand. Pictures do no justice to this car. When you're around it and in it, everything exudes an er or quality (and at nearly 300K, it darn well should) so I think that helps form my opinion a bit. Obviously everything comes down to a matter of taste, but to me, the Maserati GT is very weirdly proportioned when you see it in person in the way that the McLarn-Mercedes SLR was; they're both very front heavy. Again, just simply one mans opinion versus another's.

I'd love to know what these were shot with, and any PP details you'd share to care :) These photos are outstanding

Thanks for the comments everyone!

All shots except for the Lamborghini Diablo were with 5DII+50mm f1.4. The Diablo shot was with 5DII+17-40L. The only PP work I did was some level adjustments, some tonal adjustments (for example, since I forgot my CPL, I had to bring the sky down a bit, so I adjusted the luminance of the blue to darken it a bit). Just the usual stuff other than that really: saturation, contrast, dodging, burning, etc.
