You should wait when they have specials but, that's up to you. I would recommend Viveza 2 and SilverEfex 2.

Thanks, I have Vivesa 2.
I don't think the Color Efex would do much for me as I have Tiffen DFx2.
Shrug?

There's nothing in ColorEfex that you can do on your own in post. That's how I see it. :)

Call them (Nik Software) and ask if they have any specials running. Usually they will give you a coupon code for at least 10% off. I love Silver Effects 2. Color Effects never really tripped my trigger. I just didn't find that it was worth it to me. Seems like you can get plugins and stuff for free that do the same thing.

Try also registering for some of their "online-classes". I have already attended 2 of those - you can learn good things there but as a bonus they always offered a special code valid about 24 hours. So you can learn and safe your money.
Good luck.

if you dont need the photoshop edition you can get the whole Nik bundle for LR or Apeture for a few bucks more http://www.niksoftware.com …offers/promo_offers.shtml (external link)

the other promotions are on there as well

the LR edition does most of what I want but once in a while especially for sharpener / dfine I wish I had the PS edition
