That's a bummer as I just ordered a few things from B&H and wanted to get these things for awhile and keep putting it off

As I'm sure you know, they send stuff over a certain amount with free shipping. Just find yourself something you really don't need but want to try out, and add the Adapt-Its to it!

Personally, I like their spray lens cleaner and their Plasma monitor spray cleaner as well.

I'm up in Canada so no matter the high cost of the order I have never been offered free shipping. I might have to look and see if BH carries any strap I could get... hm..

Will do :) Might go with a hand strap except the best one BH seems to offer is the E1

Still will grab the Adapt-Its regardless since its like 4 bucks and you get 4 of them and I'll use them when needed.

Markins makes a great leather handstrap, and they're located in Vancouver.www.markinsamerica.com (external link)

+1 on the Markins. I ordered the Adapt-Its today from the POTN store so I can use it with my combo of Markins hand strap and Luma Loops sling. Love them both!

The Markins all leather strap on an Adapt-It. There is acutally enough room in the eye of the Adapt-It to place the hook of an Op/Tech neck strap.

This is a really tidy system that leaves nothing hanging from the camera lugs when you remove the neck strap.

The Markins looks nice and was actually in the checkout to get it but with shipping its 75 bucks from them!

In the mean time I did make another order and remembered to get the adapt-its :D

Any suggestions how to get these on from the inside out?

Here's how I use them:

QUOTED IMAGE

I also use them with a handstrap. I'll try and show some photos of that too.

J.

I am having hell of a time trying to get it as the bottom of the metal hoop on the camera side is preventing it from bending down as it just snags on that millimeter

EDIT: nevermind. wound up a bunch of fishing line around the little thing and eventually got it through. These little guys are tough, all the yanking with a nylon line on one small portion of it and not even a scuff/scratch/discolor, it still looks perfect :)

Next time, you can also put them in almost boiling water for one minute. That softens them so you can insert them the way you want. It's recommended by Op/Tech as the solution.

I reversed the right hand one in the photo above using that technique.
