Sorry, I was unsure where I should post this.. but I do baby/child photography. A friend designed the logo for me.. what do you think? I am unsure about the butterfly.. I originally wanted a bird but it seems like a lot of child photographers use birds so maybe the butterfly is better..

I like it too. As pointed out though it'll be better judged on a photo

I'd love to see it on a photo....

also, you really want to make sure that it's on a transparent background or one that's opacity is fairly light so that you can see the image through teh watermark

The design seems fine to me but I think

  • you should hold out for the bird you wanted
  • the bird should be facing left to draw attention to rather than away from your name
  • since you are applying it to your work, the "PHOTOGRAPHY" is unnecessary. How many painters sign their work with the descriptor "PAINTING"?

I like it. I agree the butterfly or bird should be facing into the photo though.

Ah ok I'm going to use it just as a header for my website and blog.. but it doesn't look right as a watermark. Will probably just use a simple font and my site address for a watermark, if I need it.

Have two versions - one where the text is all white, and one where the text is all black - keep the butterfly in color and maybe the text photo can have color. Way too much color imo as it sits right now.

Use versions depending on the image.

the font is to thin for a effective watermark

I like the design but the loops down below seem busy. Just my 2 cents.
