100-400IS, 2x teleconverter, Moon shot

I have been wanting to do this shot since I had gotten my crop and 100-400. this is the 2x II converter, on a 60D. Manual focus, stopped down one stop (f16). On a tripod, live view focus, mode 1 silent shooting, IS off.

I also have a kenko 1.4x extender, and may try stacking and see what happens.

Maybe it's just the me, but it looks like there might be a touch on CA on the first image. Or is it just my crappy laptop screen?

nope, definite CA. when I correct the green on the right, Magenta pops out on the left. :-).

yes. Its iso 400, I pushed it half a stop, and did lazy Lightroom slight sharpening.
