Trapped in a water bubble

Just a goofy "little" shot... I think I need more DoF on it, but I kinda like it.

100mm Macro L, full set Kenkos, and an old close up filter I had from my Sony days (for a bit more magnification. I attached a pic of the set up too.

It is a water drop.. That I know because it was a royal pain to get a drop to hang on a thread. I think the thread might have been waxed too...

Wax would help it keep it's form. A regular thread would just absorb it and wick it up the thread and away.

I soaked the thread first to prevent that... Barely got the water to stick with the knot.

Putting up money and waiting for the release of EOS 600D in India to buy the 550D at a lower price.
