Nice shots, but your focus seems to be a little off in all your photos. They look pretty really soft.
What lens were you using and what were your settings?

It seems to be front focusing: #1 the grass is in focus vs the person #2 the tree trunk & grass in front is sharp vs the person #3 the shoes are the sharpest #4 the log and the butts #5 the grass at the very lower edge of the image isn't sharp but it's the most in focus https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=408255 I don't know how many focus points the 450D has but what focus mode were you in? I doubt this is the case because I don't think there's a focus point that low in the viewfinder to catch areas that are close to the camera. Do you experience this w/ any other lenses? Yeah. I would think it's probably an issue of focusing technique. You could run a few tests at home where you shoot the same object focused in different parts of the frame and compare the results. Do this for several focal lengths.

Get any favorable answers in writing so security doesn't bug you. Thanks! I already fired off an e-mail to them. I know it's not the camera, usually the lens. Some Canon gear. Some flash gear.. a little bit of magic.
