You need a light meter for high key work like that. It's completely blown out

I fixed the link. It's a self portrait. I was testing out a DIY softbox. The hard light on camera left is just a bare flash maybe 10 feet away from me. I was too excited to get the softbox adjusted to monkey with the fill light.

Use a reflector next time to achieve a softer effect. The right (subject left) portion is nicely exposed and the tones are decent.

The kicker was too hot and too broad. the kicker should not encroach onto the side of the nose because it makes the nose look wide.
Subject left is a softbox I built. Flash through a sheet of white silky poplin fabric. Subject right is standard, flash, no diffusion. I now own a big 50 something inch westcott 5in1 reflector. I'll be playing with that soon.
If memory serves I had a very light purple gel on the bare flash...
