The photo looks fine to me, what's wrong with the lens that leads you to think it's overrated? Did you expect more sharpness? If so maybe post a 100% crop, no processing, and somebody else with lens can let you know how it compares with their copy

it was a bit of tongue and cheek sarcasm. see the happy face at the end of the first sentence and the comments below the picture.

I removed it originally but later to find out from the Boy's Parents that it was his birthmark, so it stayed.
