As many of you know, last year I second shot a lot. This year, most of the studios I second shot with are now hiring me to shoot as a main shooter. This one I was given a bit of a short notice (2 days) but I am so happy I did.

C&C are welcome.

1. Michelle had a baby 4 weeks ago.

2. I love this moment between grandma and her.

3. This may be one of my favorite photos to date.

Great captures. I had a 26 hour warning for a wedding not that long ago. What a way to get the feet moving LOL

Just a note: In shot 4, drop those bouquets down to get them out of the bodice of the dress. More like the one on the left, than the bride... ;)

Nice shots. They prove you are ready for primetime. And I'm encouraged that us geeks can land beautiful women! LOL!

Great point. I had her do that in most of the other shots, but this one I guess I just forgot.

Great shots, were you just shooting on camera flash in number 2.

I was using an off camera flash with a shoot through white umbrella, about 1/8th power for all of them with the tree backdrop. Normally I prefer reflectors, but shooting alone didnt provide me that right, and the light was too splotchy to really count on it.

You did a good job on your first shoot. :) She looks great for having a baby 4 weeks ago.

Man I can't wait for warm weather and photo opportunity.

Thanks Kevin. People were very good about helping me with it, and held it up so the wind wouldnt blow it over.

Thank you, but this wasnt my first wedding. Doesnt she look amazing?

Thank you. I normally shoot all primes, but shooting alone kinda spooked me into shooting with my zooms. Since it was only 2 hours, I didnt mind the extra heft.
