somewhere in the City : "Piazza di Spagna" (Square of Spain) According to august23 : the spot is actually known as "the Spanish steps". It's one of the nicer areas of Rome, lots of shops and alley ways with fantastic restaurants.

It was late. They were young, all alone, walking by the "Coliseo". His jacket was too long and his trousers too short... I was walking backwards and I didn't want to use the flash, so the picture is blurry but I do like it....
Ruins are everywhere...
In the ghetto, where two people asked me if I were Jewish... (security I suppose...)
There are lots of churches... It seems that every block has a church... This was my third trip to Italy. I love Roma, the ruins, the old buildings, the small (and large) restaurants, people do not seem stressed and even at night you feel safe... plus the food is incredibly good everywhere (in fact everywhere in Italy). Then, if you like ice creams and espresso coffee you're in paradise.... all images: Canon S95 my camera: Canon S95
