Dunno about ordering it in Canada/US but the guys from Korea ship quick quickly, I got mine in week and a half (using the free shipping, there is also a quicker postage for additional cost). :)

Which leads me to believe I wouldn't receive mine in time. Thats about 2.5 weeks to BC which is probably it's entry into Canada, I would then have at LEAST another 3-5 days to Ottawa. :(

Just wondering, how exactly does neck strap attack to the hand strap? Anyone have better pictures of this? I'm curious to know, my g/f got me a custom neck strap that I like to use and would like to leave on in addition to the comfort of using this strap.

Use the metal clip piece near the top of the strap. It has an extra loop to put the neck strap through.

RRS L Plate for 7D comes with a strap slot. Some other poster said is does not. Maybe depends on camera...

I ordered mine on the 15th and they shipped it the next day for delivery in Georgia (US) between 4/1 and 4/14.

It would be cutting it close. Look at it this way though, if it don't come in time, you will have a nice surprise waiting on you when you return!

Question about attaching the strap... Can I not just loop it trough the small metal bar on the bottom of the body instead of using an adapter on the bottom?

Do you have that at the bottom of your 50D?
Can you post a picture?

What we see depends mainly on what we look for.

Here's a picture. I don't see a bar where the strap could be attached to.
