However i would not rate the AF too high, but i have learned to live it. The images it produces when i get the focus right is awesome. More punch then my L-lenses..

Not the lens... occlusion is from the mirror box of your camera. 85L and 50L show the same effect. -CW

FWIW, I love mine. Easily the best lens for the money in my kit. Ah, I figured it was the back part of the lens cutting something off, good to know! Past Equipment | My Personal Gallery

It's too bad because it's a great lens if you can get one that works. I couldn't and moved on. Its truly unfortunate that this backwards engineered lens isn't a rock solid performer in all of its copies. 5Dmkiv |5Dmkiii | 24LmkII | 85 mkII L | | 16-35L mkII | 24-70 f/2.8L mkii| 70-200 f/2.8 ISL mkII| 600EX-RT x2 | 580 EX II x2 | Einstein's

I tested it and it seems to be focusing correctly, I am going out this weekend and will put it through some more tests. 5D IV, Rokinon 14mm, Zeiss 21mm, Rokinon 24mm 1.4, Canon 24-105L, Speedlight 430EX II
