Not knowing where else to post this I used the 90mm TSE to make a few sets of panoramas around the Dunlawton Bridge in Port Orange, where development may transform the waterfront soon. the link to larger images is here:

The attached are samples, but the detail is quite nice in the larger. My full size is 20 MB and is very printable. I used a Canon 1Ds3 at 100 ISO, 1/400s @ f8. Photoshop CS5.

Canons to the left, Canons to the right,
We hold our L glass toward the light,
Digitizing in a snap reflective glory
That will forever tell our imaged story.

A newly emerged monarch dry its wings in a potted herb. Canon 1Ds3, 90mm TSE, ISO 400, 1/80s @ f11.
Just to check the focus a 100 percent crop. It does seem that it is sharper just behind the butterfly. I had brightened and increased the saturation for the version I cropped, but you get the idea.

I hate to post a disproportionate number of photos, but this thread is only 7 friggin' pages - it's not right!

Here's a three shot pano of my ride. Linked to full resolution -

Ouch, about a month since the last post... no good.

Okay, here's an update on a pic a little higher up on the page - I went back to catch this tree in full bloom, stopped down a little more and adjusted the tilt to get as much in focus as I could from edge to edge -

IMAGE: http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5225/5661961024_88cf3f0785_b.jpg
IMAGE LINK: http://farm6.static.flickr.com …61961024_481c8b2152_o.jpg (external link)

...and this, this is my new boy. The tilt axis was rotated at an odd angle to compensate for body position and some tilt was applied.
