I thought the same thing, but then for $1250 shipping and $100k lens, I'd probably just fly into Taiwan and have the seller meet me at the airport.

I hear the IS version is just around the corner, though, so I'll wait.

I doubt anyone that can afford a 100k lens is shopping much on ebay to begin with :)

I wouldn't buy it unless I had some certificate or something from canon saying it worked properly to begin with let alone from someone with 0 feedback
