Does nothing for me. Added weight and expense to a hood. If it gets marred it will look bad. No thx.

Is that just CF vinyl?

I've seen a few people do custom graphics on their hoods too. Looks pretty good as long as it's neatly done.

Yes CF vinyl....and by adding weight? Really? This weighs less than the extra SD card in the second slot in your camera...

Its an expression when building race cars. To what purpose does it serve other than looking bad once used :)

Yeah - fans of it will call it exotic names "DI NOC" that 3M labels it... its a CF look on a sticker :p

Well, I'm not building a race car, I'm making my scratched lens hood look better...why do you have a problem with that?

I've seen these sold in a few places, and I've seen several threads here discussing the product. They're rather expensive. I was of the understanding that it was a solid CF build, and not just a covering over the original plastic...

It does look good.
