Lens sex? yes please :D

And now you know the TRUE reason L-lenses are weather-sealed...

Be sure to properly sterilize those L-lenses when you pick them up at a discount/used!

It'd be cool that instead of the flaming or anything unrelated, post a DIY, how'd you make the hood, where did you buy the material etc. I'm sure people would like to know, I'm sure I do :D

Honestly if I saw someone in public with their hood like that I would have a quiet chuckle. It reminds me of cars with "racing pedals", CF wrap on things, and giant wings.

Scratches/marks on a lens hood really don't look too bad. And if the hood needed something (i.e. was cracked) I'd just be putting a wrap of black tape around it.

Whatever floats your boat I guess.

You could wrap the hood in something like that and it would be like those retro iPhone cases that look like they're made out of bamboo or something organic.

It would definately be something unique.

I wonder if this fits over the lens mug as well.

I think its for photographers who have more time than work.

I was kidding. There are little obsessive things I do in my down time as well. Like meticulously label every little thing I own with my name/sticker. Then order new Pelican foam because I have outgrown the cut outs on my old foam and it doesn't look perfect. Then make sure all my lenses are orientated exactly the right way in the case. I have actually been looking for cool stickers to stick on my hoods. I just haven't found the down time to think of something ironic.. Does anyone make a sticker that says "That's what she said."?
