Holy crap, that's awesome! I ordered 3/7, so I might just see this thing the first week in April.. Go PCB!

Has anybody figured out why the neck strap goes out the side instead of straight up as one would logically expect it to? ???

I did figure out a way to circumvent that but I'm still curious why it was designed that way.

Thats a good question, but I just removed mine. I have no intentions of ever carrying this thing on my shoulder!

I was thinking of using the strap more as a handle than anything else. It's easier to just grab the strap to carry it or move it rather than trying to get my relatively small hand around the bulky VML body.

Absolutely fantastic x 2!!!!

My 300RX plays nice but the fan just hesitates a sec. Einstein loves it and pops full power in aprox 4 seconds.

I just ordered another mini, this thing is just too great. was thinking of using the vagabond II for a sandbag+battery supply, but getting a mini + a sandbag will definitely be better, also vagabond II's are selling for god 400$ shipped on average on ebay. /rolleyes

I think the 120W continuous load is plenty for my sony laptop. Ran the laptop without a hitch.

How long did it run for? I thought that was one of the weak areas of the VML, continuous powering of devices?

Got mine yesterday and wow, it's fantastic. I knew it was going to be small/light but it surprised me how compact it really was. My only previous portable battery experience was with the Profoto 7b battery pack which weighs in at 27 friggin lb's minus the hefty bag to drag it around. I'd also like to mention that it costs over $4200!!! This is definitely a steal and will be picking up another vbml along with a few more spare batteries.

I ran my laptop for about 1.5 hrs. The fan turned on infrequently in that period of time but no signs of labouring whatsoever. Almost like it was designed for such useage. I should buy a new laptop battery but I just wanted to test ou the vlm.

Honeslty I thought "whatever..." about this battery but once its in your hands its quite a neat product.

My Elinchrom 300rx pops no problem with its 300Ws. After the flash "pops" the fan's rpm drops a tad but recovers quickly in aprox 3 seconds.

After I was testing for about 2.5 hrs I unplugged the light and plugged in my laptop. The power indicator just went to 3/4.......amazing!!
