Nice to see another local!

Well. I moved out of the City. Finally sent my body and lens for a fix (screen crapped out after shooting in rain for about 5 hours and the lens was detached from the lens mount a couple months prior). Turnaround time is pretty good and I'm glad they're working just in time for spring.

So then you are no longer walking distance to Golden Gate Park?

When I held the get together there, you were the only person who wlaked to the event. :p

Well, I lived at Geary St and 26th Ave when I met you (I jogged to the park). Some time after I moved at the other side of the park at Inner Sunset 2 blocks away from the 9th Avenue entrance. Then I moved to Daly City about a month ago.

I think it would be exciting to live in SF. I don't have a license, so no driving stress for me ;)

As long as I lived close to my job, vet, and supermarket I think it would be nice.

SF seems to have an abundance of opportunities for the types of photography I am most interested in.

Been thinking about finding a decent hotel, taking the train down and shooting like crazy for 3 days straight. Never done anything like that before. Definitely would need more batteries, memory cards and some kind portable storage thingy or a laptop.

For those of you that live in the heart of the city, how often do you go out and shoot?

Why would anyone be interested in health care and unemployment abuse photography?
