Got mine, set it up last night to charge and expected it to take overnight.. A few hours later, the light was green and it was charged - it was also 11pm - too late to set anything up.

Today..

Does PCB still recommend to keep the VMLs plugged in like the VBII when not in use?

Nope! Do not do that! The Minis do not use a sealed lead acid battery like the Vagabond 2 does. Just charge when needed with the Mini.

Yea, I believe the manual says it only takes three hours.

I read the manual, but somehow skipped that part. Got it, thanks!

I would. In fact, Im selling mine right now. For how often I shoot and the stuff I do, there is really no need for such a huge unit as the VB2 being that the Mini literally gets pretty darn close to the same performance in a quarter of the size and a fraction of the weight!

I think the VLM is a good solution to those that shoot infrequently. The lithium battery should hold up well for time. No lead/acid sulfating issues with a lithium that sits around.

I appreciate the small package. So far the little abuse I gave it the vlm worked flawlessly.

INTERESTING NOTE:
I just received all 4 of my Vagabond Mini's..... No Phone Call - No E-Mail - No Notice What So Ever!
I though most of you guys were saying that you were getting some type of confirmation. The only reason that I knew that they were coming is because I just happen to look at my bank statement on-line to check some other stuff, and notice that they had deducted the money. Other than that, I had NO CLUE! But hey, can't be mad..... WHAT A SURPRISE!

COMPLETE order and delivery process..... 5 Weeks!

I got a shipment notification an hour ago. All I have left on order with PCB is the Vagabond Mini Lithium. I placed my order on Feb 28.
