OK, so I don't post in here a lot, in fact I rarely post anywhere on here except the transportation thread.

Anyways, I did a promo shoot for a wedding planner, who is also a good friend of mine.

I am happy with the outcome of the first two shots, although please feel free to c+c.

However, I'm not too sure about the last one. Yes it is a composite, there are 5 shots used here. I am thinking about turning all the background white and just keeping my soft box in frame to achieve the concept. What do y'all think, c+c is much appreciated.

***Shot details***
-1 WL1600 in softbox camera right
-2 WL1600 on the white seamless
-1 Canon 580exii with grid camera left

I really like the first shot. The lighting on the others is great also.

1. Is the negative space there to allow for text? If not, then I would crop in from the top left.
2. Nice concept and lighting, but the outfit and poses (especially the center shot) isn't the most flattering on her... actually, the more I look at it the more I like it. Now I'm not sure.
3. This concept is really cool, too. I'm just not sure what the softbox (and folding table + cabinets) are supposed to add to this shot. IMHO it would be better if the image was cropped to the extents of the seamless. Also, the stripes are causing some moire effects.

Regardless, it seems like you made the transition from transportation to people fairly easily. I wouldn't have guessed that you don't usually shoot people.

thanks guys for the comments.

i'll address a few things here just from my stand point, and please keep in mind i am saying all these
comments with a big happy smile on my face. (people tend to think i have an attitude)
1. yes I love negative space, it's just my style so it's there because i wanted it
2. i completely agree with all the crap to camera right on image #3. I will be getting rid of it in post,
with the exception of the soft-box. the concept is to have shadows cats by the light, and the shadows
are showing what she does during a day at work.
3. i hate stripes, and i gave her **** for this. especially horizontal stripes, you think a girl of all people
would know that horizontal stripes make you look fatter. however i think she's looking good in it so
i'll just deal with the moire for now
