Okay folks, you are all talking about shooting in SF.

It's going to be a Sunday in April, that I haven't picked yet. Around the middle of April.
We'll have a meetup in SF. Everyone is welcome.
The last time it was in Golden Gate Park.

Where would you folks like to go shooting?
Golden Gate Park (it's a big park)?
Financial District (might be kind of cool being deserted on a Sunday)?
China Town?
Fishermans Wharf?

I'm open to ideas.

Mid April is Cherry Blossom Festival in San Francisco Japantown.

Don't bother with the financial District on the weekend. Unless you want to go at night.

That could be fun.

That could also be fun. Especially if you can get access to some of the bigger buildings roofs or fire escapes ;) Probably won't happen with several photographers though.

Fishermans' Wharf-- eh!
Golden Gate Park-- eh!
China Town-- I'll take it!

It's a lot harder than you'd think since they are closed unless they are a hotel.

And shooting in china town always = win

Trust me, I know. My success rate of sneaking roof access is slim to none. Let's do Chinatown. I like that place way more than Japantown.

If I were to participate in the meet up I am not picky as to what we do or where we go. It's all about mingling and having fun taking pictures.

Anyone from the South Bay thinking of attending?

My wife informed me of a conflict we have on the 17th. So I've posted in that other thread I started that I'm now unable to do it on that day.

But don't let that stop you folks from getting together!

Sounds like fun, but I am working. It looks like the weather will be good. Have a great day in The City.

Thanks Tom. I think I'm going to concentrate on Chinatown. Been a long time since I've been there. I can hardly wait to get away from this crappy weather here in the Midwest for a couple days.

Drat! I just started working a new job, in Berkeley. Just across the bridge.
The drat part of it? My daughter has a softball game tomorrow at 5:30, and I have never missed a game. Can't start now.
