Bridals...

Just a few random shots from a bridal session this week.

1.

I love them! 4, 5, and 6 are awesome. My only grip is her skin tones are different in 7 and 8.

The dress looks overexposed on 1-3 that bothers me, the dress if super woderfulliciously faboulous though.

i don't think the dress is overexposed on any of them but no. 3 and i think its hot in that particular shot.
especially since the dress isn't the focal point of that shot.

2 is great... I wish there was a little more room to the left of the bride, but great shot. 4 is also great! Good work.

My thoughts. Take them for what they're worth.

1,2 and 3 are overexposed. A bride spends a lot of money on her dress. She wants to be able to see the details. Also, the light behind her in 1 isn't doing her armpit any favors.

2 would have been my favorite if you didn't have the beams coming out the top of her head. Move her (or yourself) so that she is farther right or have her lean out. Nail the exposure and you'd have a real winner. Opening up her body a bit also moves her right hand into a more favorable position.

3 is almost good except for the exposure and her right arm sticking a little too far out.

4 just doesn't do much for me. Her expression is not good.

I like 5. Best shot of the group. I'd like to see her smiling but that's a personal choice.

The pose in 6 doesn't do her justice.

7 the back light is way too hot and the bottom of the lamp in the top of the frame needs to go.

8 is kind of bland but the exposure on her dress is perfect. Dodge her skin a bit and it would be a better shot.

Great overall, but the posing seems rather plain. I think you get away with it because the model is very slim and attractive, but you can't always rely on the model's attractiveness to make the shot. Some things that stand out to me are the arm placements like in #5 where her back arm might look better layed across her body. Or the arm in #2 looks much larger than the arm in #1 because it's pushed up against the side of her body. As far as foreground, background, and composition, things are pretty top-notch.

Nice set overall but what stands out to me is the light radiating from her armpit in #1 and the last one her eyes and teeth are way overdone.

lol now that you mentioned it, i kinda notices that the light is indeed radiating from her armpit

Lol, this is exactly the comment I was going to post! But I do really like them overall, they're gorgeous.
